With hearts heavy yet celebrating a radiant spirit, we remember Tenaya Shunta Wright-Falls, affectionately known as Nay, who graced this world from June 19, 2003, to March 19, 2026. Nay was a beacon of light, a vivacious soul whose bright smile and bubbly personality left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to encounter her.

Nay was more than her youthful years suggested; she was an entrepreneur, the proud owner of Slayed Cosmetics by Shunta, a testament to her creative spark and tenacity. Through her business, Slayed Cosmetics by Shunta, she expressed not only her keen eye for beauty but also her loving and welcoming nature, inviting many into a space where self-expression and confidence flourished.

Her infectious laughter and grace was as natural as breathing. Outgoing to her core, Nay’s kindness and warmth resonated deeply, making each person feel valued and cherished. She found true joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life — doing hair, transforming it into works of art, and spending treasured moments in the company of friends. These passions echoed her desire to connect, beautify, and uplift those around her.

Tenaya Shunta Wright-Falls embodied a spirit that was simultaneously hardworking and tender, a soul that enriched life with laughter, compassion, and love. Though her journey was far too brief, the vibrancy she shared will continue to illuminate the hearts of those she touched.

The Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas will host a visitation in her honor on April 1, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and concluding at 7:00 p.m., allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance. The following day, April 2, a Funeral Service will be held at the same location from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. These moments will offer solace and tribute to a young woman whose journey, though brief, was profoundly impactful.

As we hold Nay’s memory close, we honor the brightness she brought into our lives—a bright light that will forever inspire kindness, courage, and beauty in all its forms. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Tenaya Shunta Wright-Falls, please visit our flower store.
