She blossomed from her early years at Ore City High School into a cornerstone of her family and community, leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know her.
Dolly was the epitome of a loving, giving, and caring spirit, whose wit and humor could light up even the darkest days. She embraced life with an infectious joy, and her favorite pastimes reflected her vibrant nature. Whether it was cooking for special occasions and holidays, dancing to the sounds of her beloved Johnny Taylor and the Supremes, or engaging in spirited card games, every moment spent with Dolly was imbued with laughter and affection.
Her pride in her family knew no bounds. As a devoted mother to her son, Willie Cobbin, and a cherished grandmother to Jada, Shamarón, Treylon, Nazelle, Janelle, Zeke, and Kayla, Dolly’s life was defined by the joy and love she brought to her family. She was blessed with a host of great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless happiness. In her death, she reunites with her beloved husband, Willie Needum, her cherished daughter, Sharon Bailey, her parents, and four sisters and two brothers, leaving behind fond memories and an indelible legacy of family love.
As we gather to celebrate Dolly’s remarkable life, her spirit will be honored with a loving viewing on March 11, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Wake Service that will commence at 7:15 PM. The solemn Funeral Service will take place on March 12, 2026, at the same location at 1:00 PM.
