OBIT: TOMMY LEE TUCKER

Tommy Lee Tucker, born on September 29, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully in his hometown on February 2, 2026. A beloved figure in his community, Tommy’s life was characterized by warmth, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility towards those around him.

From an early age, Tommy demonstrated a profound connection to his roots in Dallas. His early years were spent cultivating friendships and exploring the vibrant cultural landscape of the city he cherished. As he grew, so too did his commitment to serving others, participating actively in local initiatives and gatherings that fostered unity and support among community members.

Tommy is remembered for his gentle spirit and infectious laugh, qualities that endeared him to his family and friends. A prayer service to honor Tommy’s memory will take place on February 18, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. The following day, February 19, 2026, a funeral service will be held at Progressive Baptist Church, with the service commencing at 11:00 AM.
