Superb Woman: Muriel Johnson-Redd

Muriel Johnson-Redd was initiated in the Spring 1976 at Nu Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, at Southern Methodist University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Speech Communications. A Librarian Media Specialist, Muriel is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church Her community involvement includes Actress for Arts Inspiration Inc., patron with New Spain Orchestra, public announcer for “Together We Ball” annual community basketball game, DISD public address announcer for high school football and basketball games, member of Dallas Association of School Librarian Book Club and Texas Library Association. Her honors include an honors graduate at Texas Woman’s University Masters of Library Science, and Concordia University Masters of Education. She is also a member of Phi Lambda Theta National Honor Society.
