OBIT: HAROLD DEAN DUNCAN

Harold Dean Duncan, a cherished member of his community and beloved family man, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 15, 1945, Harold’s life was a testament to love, care, and joy, reflecting the warmth that he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

Harold was known for his loving, caring, and happy demeanor, traits that endeared him to friends and family alike. He was a truly family-oriented individual, putting the needs and happiness of others before his own. His legacy will undoubtedly continue through the lives he touched, whether through his kindness, his laughter, or the invaluable lessons he imparted.

Services honoring Harold’s life will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A viewing will be held on February 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on February 7, 2026, at Living Word Christian Church in Garland, Texas, starting at 11:00 AM. Harold will be laid to rest on February 12, 2026, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with the burial beginning at 9:15 AM.
