Rudolph Collins, born on August 7, 1929, in Renova, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, in Rowlett, Texas. He lived a rich and fulfilling life, characterized by his infectious humor and kind spirit. Known for being a jokester, Rudolph had an incredible ability to bring laughter to those around, and his outgoing personality made him a beloved figure in his community.

Rudolph was not only passionate about making people smile, but he also took great pride in his culinary skills as a chef. His love for cooking was a central part of his life, and his family cherished the delicious meals he prepared. Additionally, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, which included drinking Jack Honey and engaging in activities like making macramé. His resourcefulness was displayed in his belief that “nothing was trash,” reflecting a creative and resourceful spirit.

Above all, Rudolph’s proudest accomplishments were his family and the love he gave while raising his children. His impact as a devoted father and role model will be felt for generations to come.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Rudolph Collins on January 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both services will take place at Inspiring Body of Christ Church, located at 7701 South Westmoreland Road, Dallas, Texas, 75237.
