OBIT: MARGARET FAYE JOHNSON

Margaret Faye Johnson, born on September 20, 1949, joyfully entered this world and spent it enriching the lives of those around her. With great sadness, we announce her passing on January 3, 2026. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Margaret embraced life with an outgoing spirit that left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Margaret was a remarkable woman who had an innate love for her family. Her home was a gathering place, filled with warmth and laughter where countless memories were created. The simple joys of life brought her happiness; she delighted in family vacations, cherished road trips, and found great joy in dancing. Whether it was the rhythm of a song or the laughter of loved ones, Margaret’s vivacious spirit was always on full display.

An exceptional baker, Margaret loved to create delightful pies that were often the centerpiece of family gatherings. Her culinary talents were matched only by her dedication to her faith, which she expressed through her active participation in church. Through her devotion, she inspired many and built connections that enriched her life and the lives of those in her community.

Margaret’s generous heart and joyful demeanor will be missed dearly. Although her physical presence has departed, her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in our hearts. She is survived by her loving family, who will forever carry her spirit forward.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and legacy at Greater Mt. Hebron Bible Church, located at 2335 56th St, Dallas, TX 75241. A wake service will be held on January 9, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM  followed by her funeral service on January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The family welcomes all who wish to pay their respects and honor the life of this extraordinary woman who touched so many lives with her warmth and love.
