He departed this world on November 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy rich in love, laughter, and steadfast dedication to family. A man who embraced life with humor and warmth, Larry was a jack of all trades; he was the very foundation upon which many cherished memories were built for those fortunate enough to know him.
Educated with a GED received on February 9, 1994, Larry further honed his talents at a technical college where he specialized in landscaping. His commitment to his craft was evident not only in the beauty he cultivated in his work but also in the joy he spread through his passionate storytelling and humorous spirit.
Life painted a vibrant tapestry in Larry’s world, filled with activities that brought him immense joy. He was never far from a chance to run, jump, or indulge in his artistic side through drawing. His evenings often turned into nostalgic reveries as he cozied up to classic shows like “Gunsmoke” and “Rifleman,” their stories intertwining with the tales he so loved to share. Sports also sparked a fierce enthusiasm in him, giving rise to fervent discussions filled with spirited opinions.
What truly set Larry apart, however, was his immensely protective nature, especially towards his family. He was the embodiment of caring, always putting family first, nurturing bonds that would withstand the test of time. His love extended generously, enveloping not only his immediate family but also those in his orbit, making him a beloved fixture in the lives of many.

His life will be honored at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, where family and friends are invited to share cherished moments and bid a heartfelt farewell. The viewing will take place on November 23, 2025, from noon until 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on November 24, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, a time for reflection, sharing stories, and celebrating the indelible mark Larry has left on our hearts.
