Yesterday and for the next nine days, a three-judge panel of federal district judges in El Paso will hear arguments for and against the use of the recently passed redistricting maps for the upcoming 2026 election.
I am in El Paso to testify as part of this process. This is part of the litigation that commenced against the gerrymandered maps after the Governor signed them into law.
Unfortunately, there is no way for you to tune into these proceedings without being personally present at the courthouse in El Paso. However, I will keep you updated throughout this process on what is happening. The testimony that occurs over the next nine days will be used by the three-judge panel to make their determination and render a written decision.
