Alfred Record II, LifeTax and Financial Services Enrolled Agent, will present information on tax strategies for new small business owners at the December 9 Lunch & Learn session presented by the Zan Wesley Holmes Jr. Community Outreach Center. The class begins at 11 a.m. at Frazier House, 4600 Spring Ave.

Attendees will learn about some commonly overlooked tax advantages, legitimate tax write offs and what distinguishes a business from a hobby by the IRS. Participants will learn also about proper business expenses and how to best prepare for business tax filings.
